Senior Dues should be paid by May 20, 2022.  Senior dues are $25.00 and can be paid on www.myschoolbucks.com.  Families will receive notification of any outstanding obligations or unpaid senior dues on May 26th.  

Senior Exams are coming up on May 19th through the 24th. Please note that attendance will not be taken for seniors after May 24th, and there is no school for any student on May 31st.  

Laptop Collection will be held on May 23rd, 24th, and 25th.  We highly encourage seniors to turn in their laptops following their last final exam on either the 23rd or 24th.  

Prom is on May 14, 2022, from 8:00 pm until Midnight at the State Theater in Falls Church.  Tickets are now $80 and can be bought on www.myschoolbucks.com

Graduation Rehearsal and Senior Picnic will be held on May 27th starting promptly at 10:00 am. Please report to the fieldhouse between 9:30 am and 10:00 am.  The picnic will start right after the rehearsal.  

Graduation is on May 31st at 10:00 am in the stadium.  We are asking seniors to arrive at 8:00 am to get lined up.  Tickets are unlimited if we are outside in the stadium.  If it rains on May 31st, our rain date is June 1st.  If it is raining on June 1st, graduation will be held in the fieldhouse and tickets will be limited to six (6) per student. The Senior Grad Walk on May 25 is a traditional event, where a group of graduating seniors visit Katherine Johnson Middle School and several of our elementary schools to walk the halls, thanking the  staff and inspiring the younger  students.  Space is limited on the buses and participation will be on a first come, first serve basis.  Please SIGN UP early to participate.

The All Night Grad Party will be at the St. James in Springfield, Va. on May 31st from 11:00 pm until 5:00 am.  Tickets are $65 and can be purchased through the ANG website.  This is the best way to celebrate graduation with your friends!

Download Your Google Drive

If you are a Senior or you are leaving FCPS, and you want to take your work with you, please follow these simple steps to download your work from Google Drive (only work you are the owner of will be downloaded):

  1. Log in to www.fcpsschools.net.
  2. Select all of your files and folders in your drive
  • Press Ctrl + A on a PC.
  • Press  (Command) + A on a Mac.
  1. Near the screen's upper right-hand corner, you will see three vertical dots (). Click on the three dots and then click on Download.
  2. Google will then create a ZIP (compressed) file of all of your files and folders. This may take a while if you have a lot of files. In the bottom right-hand corner of your screen, you will see a pop-up that says Preparing Download.
  3. Once your files have been successfully zipped, the pop-up will say Download ready, and your browser should automatically begin downloading the ZIP file to your computer.

Note: Your Google files (documents, presentations, and spreadsheets) will be downloaded in Microsoft Office format (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel).
