Monday (Morning Check-In, Office Hours, and Asynchronous Learning)
Teachers will be available to support synchronous questions and intervention for 3 hours, and most of our students will be checking in via a Google Form to register their asynchronous “virtual” attendance on Mondays.
Over the coming weeks, our teachers and teams will work to create a schedule to be posted in their Google Classroom or FCPS 24/7 classroom so our students know when to “find” their teachers online and what types of intervention are available.
As we see students who are in need of extra support, our support staff will create schedules to support our students on Mondays as well.

Starting on Wednesday September 30, we begin a rotation during Lion Time “period 4”. Students will be rotating through their seven classes and their Lion Time Advisory period. This rotation will allow students an extra 35-70 minutes of extra support in each of their classes monthly.
Example:
- Period 2: 8:10-9:30
- NEW: Rotation Period (Lion Time): 9:45-11:05
- Students Report Period 1: 9:45-10:25 (includes announcements)
- Students Report Period 2: 10:30-11:05
- Period 6: 12:00-1:20
- Period 8: 1:35-2:55
No new links will be needed as students should access their classes through the same links they do for their normally scheduled class.
In addition, if you log into your SIS accounts, you will also notice that periods 11-18 have been added. These periods correspond to periods 1-8 and will be the periods in which attendance for lion time will be recorded.
