October 9 2024 PSAT/NMSQT School Day- 10th and 11th Graders

On Wednesday, October 9, tenth and eleventh grade students will be taking the Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test (PSAT/NMSQT) exam. Click to read more.

ACT WorkKeys® Assessments

A student enrolled in an English 11, AP English Language and Composition, or IB English Language & Literature course is required to earn verified credit in Reading and/or Writing to graduate with a standard or advanced studies diploma.

WIDA Testing

Federal legislation requires that all students identified as English learners (ELs) are assessed annually to monitor their progress and proficiency in English.

SOL Testing

Students may be taking one or more Virginia Standards of Learning (SOL) End-of-Course (EOC) assessments in the Spring. All SOL assessments are taken in-person at school.

TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language):

If you would like to receive fee waivers for the SAT and/or ACT tests, bring a copy of your Free or Reduced Lunch Verification letter to Mrs. Kim in the College and Career Center.
