The Fairfax High School Student Services Department will work in conjunction with teachers, families, students, and other staff members to maximize student achievement. In a challenging instructional setting appropriate to each student's needs, we will help each young adult realize his or her potential now and in the future.
- All students should have full and equal access to all educational and enrichment opportunities.
- All students have dignity and worth and are valued in the school counseling program.
- All students' ethnic, cultural, racial, sexual differences and special needs are considered in the planning and implementation of the school counseling program.
- All students have access to a full-time, state-certified, masters-degree-level school counselor to deliver the counseling program.
