1) What have you learned about yourself since the COVID-19 closures?

I've learned that I love to bake, especially cakes.

2) What has been your biggest disappointment/hardship since schools have been closed for the remainder of the academic year?

Not being able to see my teachers and friends at school knowing it would be the last time.

3) What are your plans for the fall?

My plan for the fall is to study political science at Virginia Tech.

4) How have your plans changed, if at all?

I was going to do one last tour of the schools I got accepted to during spring break before deciding which college to go to. However, all tours and visits got canceled. Also, I was supposed to work as a TA for the summer Korean Language Startalk Program at Fairfax High School but that has been canceled.

5) What is your passion?

My passion is to play the piano.

6) Have you discovered a new passion in light of social distancing?

A new passion I've discovered is running. I wasn't into running before, but now I am running every morning.

7) What are your hopes for the future?

I hope to become a lawyer or politician. Maybe even both!

8) Is there anything else you’d like us to know about you?

I was the president of the Korean Honor Society last year. This year, I was the drum major for the marching band.

9) What are you most proud of about your school experience/best memory?

Performing at our school International Festival for three years!
