2020 Virtual Credit Recovery

Virtual Credit Recovery is an opportunity for students to recover up to two high-school course credits and receive a grade.

Over three weeks, students will:

  • Take part in daily synchronous learning sessions with their teacher.
  • Complete daily online learning modules at their own pace (asynchronous).

Teachers will have office hours at set times and by appointment for students to ask questions. Schools will provide this information to the students.

  • Students are eligible to enroll in Virtual Credit Recovery for two courses if they received a grade of F in those courses.
  • Students may not take a course for new credit through Virtual Credit Recovery however, students who wish to pursue new credit are allowed to take one online course through FCPS Online Campus. Contact your school counselor or visit for more information regarding new courses.
